New, open-access book highlights opportunities in the forest bioeconomy

Forest Bioeconomy and Climate Change examines how forests, forestry, and forest-based solutions can contribute to the development of a climate- neutral, circular-bioeconomy paradigm. Lauri Hetemäk , Jyrki Kangas and Hali Peltola provide insights based on applications of climate-smart forestry in the EU and recommendations for policy actions. They emphasize the need for a holistic approach for viewing the nexus of forests, the bioeconomy and climate change.
