Healthy Babies, Bright Futures Shines Light on Toxic Exposures in Babies’ First 1000 Days

Healthy Babies, Bright Futures (HBBF) is an effort of the John Merck Fund, working to limit exposures to toxic chemicals to reduce the prevalence of a variety of developmental disorders, focusing on reducing exposure to toxicants during the first 1000 days of development. The alliance is comprised of scientists, non-profit organizations and donors working to support various initiatives within the organization. Their efforts are focused into three programs, supported and guided by the best available science and technology: Bright Choices (empowering families to make a difference in their communities), Bright Cities (informing governments of risk and motivating them to create change), and Science Into Action (using science to create tools for everyone).
