OECD has Released Summary Dossiers for Nanomaterials

With the completion of the OECD Sponsorship Programme for the Testing of Manufactured Nanomaterials, dossiers have been compiled on the environmental fate and safety of 11 nanomaterials from testing sponsored by countries around the world.

These dossiers have been reviewed and summaries have been posted evaluating the collected information for single walled carbon nanotubes, multi-walled carbon nanotubes, fullerenes and silicon dioxide. Each dossiers summaries information collected for each material pertaining to their physical-chemical characterization, environmental fate and pathways, environmental toxicity and toxicological information.
