JRC Publishes NANoREG Toolbox for the Safety Assessment of Nanomaterials

The European Commission (EC) Joint Research Center (JRC) has published the NANoREG Toolbox for the Safety Assessment of Nanomaterials as a result of the NANoREG project: 'A common European approach to the regulatory testing of nanomaterials', funded by the European Union's 7th Framework Program. The Toolbox provides useful tools such as test methods, datasets, models, guidance documents, decision trees, etc., which are available to regulators and others in context of REACH. This Toolbox also supports the implementation of the NanoReg Framework which was released in April of this year.

The downloadable zipped Excel file contains two datasets, the NanoREG Toolbox and prospective tools, and is available here.
