Dairy Packaging Redesigned by Arta Plast with Fiber-Based Paperboard

A Swedish packaging manufacturer, Arta Plast, has engineered a new renewable paperboard cup for dairy products and other chilled products from a material called Cupforma Natura (TM), by Stora Enso. The fiber-based paperboard is coated with a thin polymer layer which  allows liquids to be stored in the packaging. This new fiber cup is a more sustainable, environmentally sound option to the thermoformed polystyrene cups which are frequently used in food packaging.
