“Controlling Health Hazards When Working with Nanomaterials: Questions to Ask Before You Start”: NIOSH Resource Poster

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) has published a resource for those who work with nanomaterials on how to prevent exposures. Titled “Controlling Health Hazards When Working with Nanomaterials: Questions to Ask Before You Start”, the poster guides users through a number of important questions before starting to work with nanomaterials. The user can decide which different engineering and administrative controls, and personal protective equipment options may be best to reduce potential exposures according to the physical form of the nanomaterial.
