Finnish Companies Marimekko and Spinnova Create Sustainable Fabric from Wood Pulp.

Lifestyle design company, Marimekko, and sustainable fiber company, Spinnova, have developed sustainable fabrics from wood-based fibers featuring bold, iconic designs. To create the textile fiber, wood pulp is spun without the use of regenerating, dissolving materials. The process uses 99% less water than traditional cotton textile production.
