The U.S. FDA NanoDay Symposium 2022, on October 11, 2022, included an important overview and discussion of their Guidance for Industry on drug products, including biological products, which contain nanomaterials. This final version of the guidance, originally provided in 2017, reflects the FDA’s new thinking on this topic.
Speakers and panelists addressed safety evaluations of food contact substances that contain nanomaterials and the development of standard materials and methods. You can view their presentations here.
