UK Government Provides Guidance for Product Safety in the Event of a No-deal Brexit

The UK government released guidance in September 2019 for businesses regarding how to comply with product safety regulations which would be put in place in the event of a no-deal Brexit. The guides cover general product safety as well as cosmetic products, toys, ATEX, electrical and electronic, fireworks, gas appliances, lifts, machinery, metrology (weights and measures), personal protective equipment, pressure equipment and recreational craft. Further amendments and notice of when the regulations might take effect will be released by the UK government as the information becomes available.
