JACA Report: Hazard, risk analysis, and safety requirements of cultivated meat and seafood

We are pleased to support the Japan Association for Cellular Agriculture JACA with this seminal report providing a comprehensive assessment of current regulatory and safety evaluation for cultivated meat and seafood products worldwide. The report, prepared by Kimberly Ong and Jo Anne Shatkin from Vireo Advisors, summarizes current documentation requirements for cultivated food submissions in different international jurisdictions, provides an analysis of hazards and control measures for cultivated food products, and recommends information that should be included in regulatory submissions and a process flow for submission of a dossier based on guidance from regulatory agencies, current public dossiers, publications and reports, interviews with regulatory agencies, industrial, and academic experts, and on Vireo’s extensive experience in this area.
